Paul B. Preciado

To All I Will Love (2021)
Unaddressed mailing

With his contribution to the festival, Paul Preciado sends a love letter to visitors and non-visitors of steirischer herbst delivered directly to their homes.

The impact of COVID-19 has been to isolate people from one another, not only socially but also on a bodily level. The phantasms of paranoia and the realities of the disease make it harder and harder to imagine chance encounters where you unexpectedly fall in love, taking yourself by surprise. But that is exactly what Paul B. Preciado achieves in his letter, a rousing affirmation of life addressed to the general public of Graz and visitors to the festival, and sent directly to their mailboxes.

The complete text of the letter can be read here.
