Inspired by the television show Bares für Rares (Cash for Rarities), this year Theater im Bahnhof presents a flea market and performance on the theme of objects and their owners. The workshop Bares für Wahres (You Tell, We Buy)—Kids’ Edition transports the central concept of the project into Styrian schools, in search of meaningful objects and stories from the past year—which was an especially difficult one for young people. All participants are invited to share their stories in small groups, thereby creating a space for reflection on the changing significance of objects in times of crisis.  

In addition to fostering group dynamics, this format shifts participants’ attention onto a non-material understanding of value. It is available as a facilitated workshop or in the form of work materials for individual implementation in schools.
